Janne Gallen-Kallela-Siren is the 11th director of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery since 2012. He previously served as director of the Helsinki Art Museum, where he was part of the inner circle of supporters (along with Carl Gustaf Ehrnrooth, a trustee of the Guggenheim Foundation) of the proposed Guggenheim Helsinki in Finland which was greeted with much opposition and finally canned.
